Proteins are complicated molecules, formed of a series of building blocks of amino acids. Their digestion start in the stomach by action of pepsin enzyme which is activated by HCl in the stomach. Then, in the intestine, several other proteases secreted by pancreas (protein-digesting enzymes that work by breaking the peptide bonds between amino acids) break protein even further. Eventually amino acids are absorbed in the intestine by sodium-dependent amino acids transporter, which moves amino acids along with sodium ions inside the intestinal cells.
Your're welcome and have a nice week yourself.
