Help me with domain and range of the given functions.

F(x)= x^2-1/x^3
My answer
Domain:All real numbers
Range: All real numbers

y = √x-1/x-2
My Answers
Domain: All real numbers
Range: All real numbers except 0

is my answer correct? If not please correct me and me me your formula(or graph)

Not quite.

When dealing with rational functions it is important to remember that the denominator cannot be zero.

so, if f(x) = (x² - 1)/x³......then x³ ≠ 0

i.e. x ≠ 0

=> domain --> all real values except x = 0...and range --> all real values.

If f(x) = √(x - 1)/(x - 2).....then x - 2 ≠ 0

i.e. x ≠ 2

=> domain --> all real values except x = 2...and range --> all real values.
