I don't pretend to know what came before the Planck Epoch of the Big Bang. I'm particularly not inclined to presume that it's sapient, omniscient, omnipotent, consistent with the personality traits of a deity from a particular mythology, or is even still there if it ever was.

But, if you want to take that question mark and say that your particular deity lives there, be my guest. I understand that once upon a time people thought the same thing about thunder and lightning, and the reasons for the Sun moving across the sky, before they understood the natural processes behind it.

I can't say I feel strongly enough about your particular belief to have an ongoing discussion about it. I think it's a little silly to make such assumptions in absence of any real data, but I don't see any point to trying to stop you from doing so. I mean, you're not using it as an excuse to do harm, are you?

The universe's matter always existed in a finite area and expanded in a finite universe with an infinite amount of densely packed matter that spanned the creation of the universe. When people say the universe was born, they mean that it started to expand from the little densely packed matter it had in a very small amount of area. This can be proven by knowing that time did always exist and always will exist. You can go back infinity years ago because the definition of time is the moment things occur in the universe, and it took time for the universe to begin to expand and even for the matter to exist an infinite number of years ago. The universe came from nothing since matter can't be created or destroyed, and by the law of physics everything in the universe just is, almost existed, and always will exist. Matter can exist itself, but you can't make matter for the infinite amount of densely packed matter in the universe that existed an infinite number of years ago. You can only change it. You have what you have. And to answer your question, the universe didn't technically come from a singularity because the universe WAS the point of singularity, and the stuff inside the universe and that little point of the expansion of the universe was just matter that always existed. The universe can't come from something. It is just a place that takes up space in dimensions with matter that IS the point of singularity as the universe expands. It is not known by modern science why exactly the universe expanded, but scientists think the matter in the universe as a point of singularity became so densely packed that it needed to be less dense and expand which is known as the Big Bang today which occurred approximately 13.6 billion years ago. We can transfer the matter in the universe from one place to another, and the fact that matter exists itself and moves due to gravitational attractions in out universe proves that nothing really could have created the matter in the Universe and it always was there because it takes time for that matter to move. Think of it this way. I could go back a year. I could go back another year. And another year. And I could do this infinity number of times and you I still wouldn't reach a point with no matter in the universe. The fact of the matter is, matter is what makes up the universe and the universe is unbounded and has been expanding in every direction for a very long time, and before it expanded it was just a small part of space. The fact that the universe has been expanding in every direction proves that there is an infinite amount of matter to expand into, but there isn't an infinite amount of space or else the universe couldn't be expanding from a certain point of detected space many light years to Earth, which many scientists discovered approximately 21 years ago. And I think you have it the opposite of what you mean to say. The point of singularity and an infinite amount of densely packed matter in the universe came from the universe of which it was contained. Everything in existence is contained in the universe and the singularity is just all the matter and all the space which makes up the universe. Hope I helped!
