The Mayans all predicted it apparently. We'll need to find some way to evacuate Earth if survival is to be assured. I hope the world can go on to see the Winter Olympic games in 2014.

I don't put much credence in such predictions, but there have been mass extinctions on earth before. And it is kind of creepy to realize that we are so dependent on this thin skin of atmosphere hugging close to the surface of the planet -- a thin skin that could be damaged by many different types of things. We just take it for granted that oxygen will always be there to breathe.

Yes, I recommend a "B" Ark. Everyone that believes the world will end in Dec 21 2012 can get a FREE ticket. Try to ignore the fact that the "Ark" looks suspiciously like a leaky garbage scow. I'm sure it will be completely seaworthy... at least until you get to the middle of the ocean.

The mayans didn't actually predict it, they said a semester in the worlds history would end: They didn't regard at as doomsday, its just when their calender ended: Then some idiotic christians blew that out of porportion.
