If you mean a self sustaining colony that will not require ongoing support from earth, I think it unlikely,-not by the u.s.president bush started a program to establish a moon base within a few years. but obama cancelled it when he got elected.......
Sure, there might be bases there occupied more or less permanently by a few people whos stay for a year or so, but colonies with thousands?
Mars is more like it.

The first steps in that direction were in progress, until that moron community organizer violated a campaign promise and canceled the Constellation program. If you mean a lunar base, I think that a competent president will set us back on that course one day. If you mean a self sustaining colony that will not require ongoing support from earth, I think it unlikely,

not by the u.s. president bush started a program to establish a moon base within a few years. but obama cancelled it when he got elected. the same way congress controlled by the democrats cancelled the apollo program in the 70s. now the u.s. has no remaining space program.

Probably not. I mean, how would we get the oxygen we need? Unless we can pump it from Earth to there, no, the Moon will never be colonized.
-
Its possible, but unlikely because of low gravity and its long term effects on people.

Only by Nazis.

Yes, i do. I think we'll be colonizing it soon enough, maybe within the next 30 years.

I think that's a good possibility. We've got 88 more years to "git r done"
