Hypothesis and prediction problem?

So I have an experiment and can you identify the hypothesis and prediction for me? Im not sure what the different is between them.

"with my first gerbil, I will test it in complete darkness and monitor its behavior for 24 hrs. Then I will test it a week later in complete light for 24 hrs. My hypothesis is that the gerbil's health will not be affected." so what is my prediction???

Your current hypothesis is actually your prediction. A prediction is what you think will happen, a hypothesis explains the reasoning for why you think it will happen.
