Will all the idiots stop asking questions about the world ending when we get to December 22nd.

Then they just move onto the next scam. How can people NOT learn a lesson from these non-events? It is as if their mind is totally cut off from reality. They never think of questioning anything, or learning for themselves. They just believe whatever they perceive the herd to be believing.......
I just wonder at the mentality of someone who can believe such nonsense, then not feel any shame or embarrassment when the date comes around and hey presto, no doomsday happens. Then they just move onto the next scam.

How can people NOT learn a lesson from these non-events? It is as if their mind is totally cut off from reality. They never think of questioning anything, or learning for themselves. They just believe whatever they perceive the herd to be believing.

It's like they are a different species or something, or have deep mental health issues. Perhaps after the set date, some of them might come on here and explained WHY they believed in such idiocy and how they cope with being proven totally wrong. Then we can all understand.

Cheers!

Nope. You might notice there are already a few equally inane questions about nonsensical solar storms in 2013 and fictional asteroids in 2020.

And I have no doubt that the "Nibiru" crowd will just push their date back again — remember that Nibiru was originally supposed to destroy Earth in 2003. Every time the promised date comes and nothing happens, they just push it back a few years.

Of course not.
Why should they?

There are at least three ends-of-the-world per year that I know about (and probably a lot more in cultures we do not know).

Planet-X has already killed us in May 2003. No doubt it will kill us many times in the future.

Nibiru (a different fake planet) was not due before 2085 -- in the story for which it was invented. Therefore, it is still free to be used for many years.

In recent years, we have had a doomsday prediction every time a new comet was announced (and many comets are discovered every year).

Also, we seem to have had a new hoax created for each American science-fiction movie, recently.

And so on.

Don't look now, but there is yet another "Ancient Calendar" with one of them magical dates on September 20, 2020 (and sure enough, in that culture, someone has already announced the end of the world for that date).
