Could A Solid Planet Have A Gas Moon

-No, plain and simply.......
A planet such as or similar to Earth have a moon comprised of gases such as Jupiter or Saturn?

-
Interesting question. I don't know if a rocky planet would be big enough to capture a gas giant. The relative size is that NORMALLY a gas giant is bigger and more massive than the rock planets.

-
It would have to be very far away from it's sun to avoid the gases being blown away by the solar wind in which case there would be no reason why the planet would be terrestrial instead of gaseous.
