They also transfer substances throughout the golgi app.Good luck!......
I need this answer before tomorrow! It's a project that is due.

The golgi apparatus is an organelle that modifies proteins. It has several stacks called cisternae which have different functions are the stacks progress. To move from stack to stack golgi vesicles are used. Once the protein is finished being modified, golgi vesicles transport it to its final destination.

If this is a project, you'll probably have to research this a bit, but I hope this helps.

Golgi app.- modifies/packages substances in order to export them

The vesicles- transfer the modified substances from the app. to the phospholipid membrane (cell membrane), where the substances are then excreted. They also transfer substances throughout the golgi app.

Good luck!
