Acetylcholine esterase hydrolises Ach. Is it same as inactivation? What are amine neurotransmitters?-1) it depends, but Ill say false.Degradation of by enzymes is true.......
Reuptake at synapses is the major method of termination of action potential of amine & amino acid neurotransmitters.

Acetylcholine is inactivated by cholinesterase.

Small diameter nerve fibers are more susceptible to anesthetics than large diameter fibers.

I need to know if the above statements are true or false. I need additional reading links too.

1) it depends, but I'll say false. Degradation of by enzymes is true.

2) true, cholinesterase is the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine.

3 true

4) it is the same as inactivation because hydrolyzing is the breaking down of something. thats the way by which the enzyme breaks down acetylcholine.

5) Amines are derivatives of ammonia. I cant really describe it, look on wikipedia, stuff like that on there is ok.
