Any ideas for an Ecology paper???

I have to write a 5 page paper on an Ecology topic. It can be anything thses are some examples our teacher gave us:
Possible Topics: Alternative Energy (taken), Instinctive Behavior, Prey Defenses, Symbiotic relationships, Adapative Behavior, Loss of Ozone Layer, Ecosystems, Chemical Effects on the Environment, Dominance Hierarchies, etc. This only lists some possibilities. You are welcome and encouraged to come up with a topic on your own.

I want to do something creative but interesting. Any ideas would be helpful, and an example thesis statement for it would be good too.???

do the ozone layer. global warming is easy stuff. talk about the different pollutants and fossil fuels that break down our upper atmosphere by binding to ozone (O3). explain the chemical process that occurs at a molecular level when ozone is broken down. you can talk about the changes in climate in different parts of the world and the dire effects of UV radiation on plants, animals, as well as the health of human beings. talk about the melting of glaciers and the increasing sea levels, and how it affects certain animals and plants. talk about the types of underwater plants and fish that are on the verge of extinction because of it and how it can effect the food chain. there is a lot of cool stuff.
