Dane say: I normally don't answer with a video but I have two short videos in mind that give a very plausible answer to the question. They are both pretty short and contain very interesting ideas on how the building blocks of life could have easily emerged (Abiogenesis) through Chemical evolution from Basic chemicals that are abundant on the earth and our universe. The second video explains RNA and how it (when following from the basic structures of the first video) is capable of self reproducing, moving, and evolving (the basic functions we attribute to life). Of course the idea is not complete but it gives a highly plausible argument. The videos will be in the source.

Now the real problem, If we cannot know perfectly what happened with the origins of life how is it you seem so certain that you have a good answer yourself? If it is unknowable and the ideas of Truth (with a capital T) are not capable of being known by man then how do you know this Truth?

Gray Bold say: In deductive reasoning, a conclusion is reached reductively by applying general rules that hold over the entirety of a closed domain of discourse, narrowing the range under consideration until only the conclusion(s) is left.

busterwasmycat say: I don't think there is faith involved in that particular issue. There was no cellular life. Then there was. Had to happen somehow. I have a current belief as to the most likely mechanism, but I cannot prove it, and I would be open to a reasonable and well-defended alternative. A miracle happened explains nothing and describes nothing, so is nothing of value as an explanation. If that is all you have to offer, don't bother. Even miracles have to happen SOMEHOW.

- fundie, why don't you ask a scientist, except that when they give you an answer, you can't refute it.
