How can I learn more in my studies? I will the devote the time but I want to know how to take notes, do videos help? How can I learn the material so that it sticks? Any experience you can share? thanks!

Those were classes that required memorization. I had a system where I made flash cards. I would do a hundred at a time. I would go until I missed one and then start over every time I missed one. Pretty soon you know some of them very well. Later you can focus on the ones you have problems with. It sounds boring and it is time consuming but it works. Just making out the cards helps.
