Which gas is heavier hydrogen or methane n why plz give reason

Methane is heavier than hydrogen.
Because:
1- hydrogen gas is the lightest substance known.
2- 1mol of methane gas contains about 2mol of hydrogen gas.
3- structurally CH4 Seems heavier and bulkier than H2.
4- their relative molecular masses differ greatly: 16-methane and 2-hydrogen.

Hydrogen, becoming the lightest present gas (14 times much less dense compared to air), appears to be one of the most appropriate gas for lifting. Obviously, methane is extremely flammable and for that reason, like hydrogen, not really appropriate for utilize in passenger carrying airships.
