What does 1/4" = 1' - 0" represent on an architectural drawing of a house ?

A) That scale of the drawing is 1= 4
B) That 1 foot on the construction site equals 1/4 inch on the drawing
C) That the house be built 1/4th scale
D) That a distance of 100 feet will measure 2.5 inches on the drawing

Im confused with the scale, any help appreacited

-
B) That 1 foot on the construction site equals 1/4 inch on the drawing

Exactly as the scale equation says:
1/4" means one quarter of an inch
1'-0" means one foot

1/4" is the scaling of 1'-0"

Thus,
1/4" on the drawing means 1'-0" in reality

-
B) is correct
