Making Rich Goldberg Machine and I need to drop a lighted match. Any ideas on how to cause this match to drop

I'm making a Rich Goldberg Machine and my idea is to drop a lighted match into a plate of NaCl to create yellow colored flames. Any ideas on how to make the lighted match drop so that'll it land in the plate.

Clothespin attached to a wheel that is turned by the weight of falling water.
In the clothespin is a match.
At half rotation it contacts and reacts to a striker.
The rotation is stopped by brick or concrete cylinder that is on the plate of reactant.
Match is released, gravity wins!
it always does, so use it.
