hiee friends, plz dont think i am a fool and take this seriously
I am a CA Final student and given my attempt this may 2012, results are about to come
actually when i was in class 11th when one has to select the stream
I asked my Maths teacher about subjects and engineering
he said take commerce , you can become CA also (I was brilliant in mathematics got medal in all India Olympics, Y did he advised so i dont know)
I asked my family, they said engineers just check out how building is constructed and its okay sort of)
My friends all took commerce and all said that it has great scope
and i took commerce
at that time i was so unaware that i even didnt know about IIT AIEEE, branches of engineering
I wanted to know and enquired my teachers, family , friends but everyone suggested to take commerce
Now i am just going to become a CA but still i have a unfulfilled desire to do engineering
i am ready to do , i have the stamina to do
but the problem is who will give me admission in 25 years
presently i am 24 complete and planning to give 12th PCM through NIOS
plz help me from where n which college will give me admission at 25years of age

my response is not a suggestion its plain straight solution
1, dont go NIOS instead take up DIPLOMA in engineering ?
taking "DIPLOMA" is 3 years and you will go directly second year in ENGINEERING total 6 years, but make sure to take right course in DIPLOMA, if you are not sure take DIP. in mechanical engineering its universal and you can do any branch in bachelors
where as if you go NIOS you will have to do 2 years for PCM and then 4 years in engineering its same 6 years, the disadvantage is its open institute, would you hire anyone with open schooling and college background ?
2, for bachelors there is other alternative, after diploma, you can either do BE in college or do AMIE the society which is total of 20 papers, since you completed dip in mech assuming, you are exempted to write 6 out of those 20, so its only 14 and you can write max of 4 per semester, do the math yourself
