HELP ASAP. WHICH GUINEA DO I USE

I have a HUGE history core assessment due monday. our teacher assigned us a colony and a power that soon imperialized that colony. My teacher NEVER answers emails so I'm not sure what to do. My colony just said Guinea and my western power is Great Britain however there are multiple countries that have Guinea in the name. I asked him in class today which one to use and he pointed to one in Africa. However non of the Guinea's in Africa really were British colonies. I don't know which country to use and how Britain was involved. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me with what i should do. I am completely stressed and lost. You're help is much appreciated. Thank you.

If your power is the British Empire, then it must be what used to be British Guinea, or British New Guinea, which is what we now call Papua New Guinea.
