(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
We can live forever in paradise on earth, that may be a new thought, but eventually Satan will be destroyed. This scripture shows many will be resurrected who died before Armageddon.
(Acts 24:15) and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
So all who died before Armageddon will need a chance to choose to serve God or follow Satan and that is why they will be resurrected during the thousand years of peace on earth when the faithful will clean up the earth and teach the ones who are resurrected. But those who are resurrected will not have proven faithfulness at Armageddon and that is why Satan will be released for a final test:
(Revelation 20:7, 8) 7 Now as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Ma′gog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea.
How sad so many who were resurrected will be like Adam and Eve and choose independence from God and they will be destroyed as well as Satan and all will be gone forever and never live again. Then finally mankind will know all the blessings in store for man. Satan will be gone forever then.
