-x²+3x+11 is the simplest form-If you are doing it for schoolwork, leave in whatever form your teacher thinks is the simplest form. Ask him/her to get that answer. If you are doing it for a real world application, leave in whatever form makes the most sense in the context of that application. What is simplest is often just like beauty - its in the eye of the beholder.......
I have a general question about simplifying polynomials. Would x^2+3x+11 be the simplest form or would it be x(x+3)+11. is this going to far, or is it really needed? if the polynomial is prime do i have to simplify any futher. thank you for you help.

x²+3x+11 is the simplest form

If you are doing it for schoolwork, leave in whatever form your teacher thinks is the "simplest" form. Ask him/her to get that answer. If you are doing it for a real world application, leave in whatever form makes the most sense in the context of that application.

What is "simplest" is often just like "beauty" - it's in the eye of the beholder.

perfect and its not to far its only one step and its the only step
