4.-1/13-1.2.3.4.) 3/52-1.......
For questions 1–2, you roll two number cubes. Find each probability.
1. P(odd and even)
-1/4
-1/3
-1/2
-2/9

2. P(1 or 2 and less than 5)
-1/4
-1/3
-1/2
-2/9

For questions 3–4, you select letters from the following:

A A B B B C D D E F G G G

and do not replace them. Find each probability.
3. P(A then B)
-1/52
-1/26
-3/52
-1/13

4. P(vowel then G)
-1/52
-1/26
-3/52
-1/13

1.) 1/4
2.) 2/9
3.) 1/26
4.) 3/52

1.prob of getting odds or evens is 1/2 for both
so first one is odd and second one is even is 1/2*1/2, similarly first one is even and second one is odd is also 1/4
so answer is 1/4+1/4 = 1/2

2. one cube is 1 or 2's prob is 1/3, another is less than 5's prob is 4/6 = 2/3
so prob is 1/3 * 2/3 = 2/9

3. P(A then B) = P(A) * P(B) + P(not A) * P(B) = 2/13 * 3/12 = 1/26
4. 3/13 * 1/4 = 3/52
