Ans-What do you need shown? You just displayed an equation with no instructions.......
I'm studying for a regents and I don't know how to do this question, can anyone help?

ln [(x+5)(2x-1)^2] and show how you got it please!!

-
ln [(x+5)*(2x-1)^2]
ln (x+5) + ln[(2x-1)^2] logarithm property, fron ln(a*b) = ln a + ln b
ln (x+5) + 2 ln(2x-1) logarithm property, fron ln(a^n) = n ln a

bye bye, I hope it helps you

-
Expand: ln [(x+5)(2x-1)^2]
Sol let y = ln (x+5)+ log (2x-1)^2 because ln(ab) = ln(a) +ln(b)
= ln (x+5)+ 2*log (2x-1) because ln(a^b) = b*ln(a) .............Ans
