Any help is appreciated

By using logs

2^(3x-4)=5
(3x-4)(log2)=log5
3x-4=(log5)/(log2)
....

I don't have a log button handy but I think you can do it from there
Hope this helps!

2^(3x-4) = 5

log both sides

log 2^(3x-4) =log 5

(3x-4) log 2 = log 5

3x-4 = log 5 / log 2

3x = log 5/ log 2 +4

3x = 6.32192809

x = 2.10730936

i would go about it like this:

2^(3x-4)=5
(3x-4)=2.23
3x=6.23
x= 2.076
