s+3/s=-4 I think the answer is -3, but am not sure I am doing it correctly.

Multiply the whole thing by "s" which gives:
s^2 + 3 = -4s
S^2 +4s + 3 = 0
(s+1)(s+3)= 0
s = -1 and -3.
s^2 + 3 = -4s
S^2 +4s + 3 = 0
(s+1)(s+3)= 0
s = -1 and -3.
