"A building is 210 M tall.A scale model is built using a scale factor of 0.005.determine the height of the model to the nearest CENTIMETRE.
The height of the model is_______________
? please help?

-
Centimeter= American spelling of CENTIMETRE

The answer is 0.0105.

First, I would convert the measurements because the final answer is supposed to be in cm.
1m = 100cm

So the building height is 2.1cm. Next, multiply 2.1 by 0.005. You get 0.0105 as your answer.

Use a calculator and put in 210 and MULTIPLY by .005 the resulting number will be your hight of the scale building in centimeters. Do NOT use division. Dividing a whole number by a decimal will only increase the final number. The opposite for multiplication

Dude, it's 1.05 meters or 105 centimeters.

105 cm
