How long will it take someone running at 12mph to catch up to someone walking at 5mph with an hour and a half head start?

(5 mph) (1.5 h) = (7 mph) t
t = (5 mph) (1.5 h) / (7 mph)
t = (5/7) (1.5 h) = (15/14) h = (1 + 1/14) h
