-4) it isnt a solutionbecause the result is diferentthan -10-Your answer to question 1 is correct.2.So (1/2,-4) is not a solution.......
Question 1:
The Hansons have reduced the average number of hours they watch television each day from 5.5 hours in March to 2.5 hours in June. Find the rate of change in the average number of hours they watch television each day.

My answer (Is it correct?):
5.5 - 2.5 = 3 hours
3/5.5 = 0.545 = 54.5% rate of change

Question 2:
Determine if (1/2, -4) is a solution to 4x - 3y = -10 (Stuck on this one, and don't have an answer)

-
the answer to the question 1 is correct

let's get the answer for the quetion 2
4x - 3y = -10
4(1/2) -3(-4)=14 so (1/2,-4) it isn't a solution because the result is diferent than -10

-
Your answer to question 1 is correct.

2. Steps:
substitute(4*1/2)-(3*-4)=-10
(2)-(-12)=-10
14=-10
So (1/2,-4) is not a solution.

-
for 2 just put the damn coordinates into the equation

-
4(1/2) - 3(-4) = -10
2 + 12 = -10
not an answer
