only -1 is valid-Because if x = -6, (x + 2) = -4, and (x + 5) = -1.Logarithms only apply to positive numbers, not negative ones.-Because you cant take log of negative number.......
when x = -6

log(x + 2) = log(-4) and log (x + 5) = log(-1)

Since log of negative numbers is not defined, -6 is not valid one. only -1 is valid

-
Because if x = -6, (x + 2) = -4, and (x + 5) = -1.

Logarithms only apply to positive numbers, not negative ones.

-
Because you can't take log of negative number.
