1.
G is cost of grapefruit, O is cost of orange
6G = 10O
12G + 24O = 33 -> 2(6G) + 24O = 33
10O + 24O = 33
34O = 33

ANSWER: O = 33/34, so it is about 97 cents
2.
0.03x + 0.035(25,000 - x) = 787.5
0.03x + 875 - 0.035x = 787.5
-0.005x = -87.5

ANSWER: x = 17,5000
3. 60x = 45(7 - x)
60x = 315 - 45x
105x = 315
x = 3

ANSWER: 60(3) = 180 miles
4. d + q = 15
0.1d + 0.25q = 2.55
0.1d + 0.25(15 - d) = 2.55
0.1d + 3.75 - 0.25d = 2.55
-0.15d = -1.2
d = 8
ANSWER: 15 - 8 = 7 quarters
5. the last one is confusing, i don't get it. Are u sure u copy the problem rite???

But I hope my answer helps.

sr, but after I checked the answer the cost of the orange is 75 cents each.
you need to replace 20O + 24O = 33 in to the third step
then 44O = 33
O = 0.75
