Can anyone solve these by elimination or substitution

4x-3y=8
y=4(x+2)


4x-3y=1
3x-y=-2



3x=-6y+3
2y=-x+1

4x-3(4x8)=8
4x-12x-24=8
-8x-24=8
-8x=8+24=32
x=32/-8= - 4 back sub into equation of choice

4(-4)-3y=8
-16-3y=8
-3y= 8+16=24
y=24/-3=-8
