I need help in calculating how to find out my grade for a class? 10pts

I have 4 grades that are apart of my final grade and each is worth 25% of my grade.

I have an 81%, 100%, 92%, and a 88%.

What would my final grade be with all of this presented?

Since you have four grades, and they're all worth the same, just take the average of them:

(81 + 100 + 92 +88)/4 = 90.3%

convert all percents to decimals. "of" means multiply. you are looking for 25% of each of those grades. then, you add them up. then convert the answer you get back to a percentage.

25% of 81% = .25 of .81 = .25 × .81 =
25% of 100% = .25 of 1 = .25 × 1 =
25% of 92% = .25 of .92 = .25 × .92 =
25% of 88% = .25 of .88 = .25 × .88 =

you know how to multiply, right?

your current grades account for 361% of your finale average.
your current average is 91.

you need to make 91 in order to have an A average.
95 for B average
99 for C average
103 in order to have a D average

81+100+92+88=361
361/4=90.2

Your grade should be a 90.2% or close to it (: In my school thats a B+
