18/x(x - 3) - 6/(x - 3) = 5/x
18 - 6x = 5(x - 3)
11x = 33
x = 3

2).
5/x - 2 = 2/(x + 3)
5(x + 3) = 2x
3x = -3
x = -1

what happen to the -2 in problem #2?

18/x(x-3) - 6/(x-3) = 5/x. multiply by x(x-3)

18 - 6x = 5 (x-3)
18+15 =11x
x=33/11
x=3
