I keep seeing the number 821

Ok,i keep seeing the same number over and over. The number i am seeing is 821 my birthday happens to be august 21st (8/21) it all started in 2005 when i got my new car my license plates starts with 821 i saw it off and on all through 2005 but it really started heavy when i was behind this car in 2006 it had a temporary plate that said 821 from then on every time i looked at the clock it would be 821 when i would buy stuff at the store my total would be 821 i just see the number random places.. what could this mean and i dont want to hear that my brain is trained to recognize the number i have already heard that theory im looking for a metaphysical theory. i dont believe in coinedence.

Well, it's not a coincidence, nor is it anything supernatural. When I read just the title of the question, I thought, I bet her birthday is 8/21. It's an important number to you, so when you see it, it stands out. Other numbers are not significant, but they might be numbers you encounter far more often without you even noticing. People always see numbers they're familiar with and think it's something mystical: 911, 666, 7, 13, 23.
Ever learn a new word, and then all of a sudden you hear it all the time? Same thing.
Did you ever know somebody who bought a new car and then all of a sudden you see those cars all over the road? Also the same thing.

Start paying attention to all of the numbers you encounter and you'll see that 821 doesn't occur as often as you think. Think about it: a temporary license plate is one of your examples. How many license plates did you see that didn't have 821? How often do you encounter the number 72?
