How do you find the center of the ellipse

Find the center of the ellipse defined by this equation:

(x+2)^/1 + (y-2)^2/25 = 1

Please explain in simple terms.

well : (x,y) = (h,k)

and (h,k) in this equation is (-2,2) because you take the opposite of the numbers in the parentheses.
