Is the only option taking it for the third time? How can I finally pass this class? Help me!

in the OLD days, D was considered WEAK BUT PASSING. The only reason you would need to take it again is if you need a higher grade for you grade point average. Obviously you already KNOW the material, having taken it twice. If you really don't understand it well, get a tutor to assist you or discuss your issue with the teacher. Also, DO the homework assigned, and get a good night's sleep the day before each class to help you concentrate.
