Reducing rational expression to lowest terms

Reduce the following rational expression to lowest terms, if possible.

c^2-6c+9/c-3

i got c+2-3
but its not correct, can you please explain how to do this.

(c^2-6c+9) / (c-3)

= (c-3)(c-3) / (c-3) /// factorise numerator

= c-3 ///// cancel the same factors
