B) if 3 dozen eggs cost $2.67, how much will 5 dozen eggs cost?
c) In michigan, there are 2.3 lawyers for every 1000 people. the population of Detroit is 911,402. How many lawyers would you expect there to be in Detroit?

A) 448/7 gives miles/hour which = 64 miles/hr, then multiply by 13 hours, you get 832 miles.

B)3 dozen = 36 ---- $2.67/36 = 7.4 cents per egg times 60 eggs = $4.45

C)911,402 / 1,000 = 911.4 x 2.3 = 2,096 lawyers :D

Good luck

This is simple algebra.

448m in 7 hours
448/7 = 64miles per hour
64 miles per hour * 13 hours = 832 miles

The other two problems are done the same way.
2.67/3 = .89
.89 * 5 = 4.45

2.3 lawyers / 1000 people = .0023 lawyers per person
.0023 * 911042 = 2 095.3966

448 over 7 hours
And the x over 13 hours and cross multiply!
Same with others...u cross multiply them
