After how many seconds will the Rocket hit the ground?-A) height = -16(1.5^2) + 360(1.(use quad form) and get 22.5 seconds-A. 16(1.......
After Gracie launches her model rocket, the height of the rocket can be modeled by the equation h(t)= -16t^2+360t where h(t) is the height of the rocket in feet and t is the time in seconds

A. How high will the rocket be after 1.5 seconds?

B. After how many seconds will the Rocket hit the ground?

-
A) height = -16(1.5^2) + 360(1.5)
height = 504

B) 0= -16t^2 +360t
(use quad form) and get 22.5 seconds

-
A. 16(1.5)^2+360(1.5)= 504

B. 22.5

-
A)-36+540
=504

B) 22.5

-
substitute 1.5 for t on both sides, solve for h. then do 0=h and solve for t.
