1. x = -7
-7x both sides > add 2 both sides
2. K = -1
Distribute 6 on right side > add 6k both sides > -6 both sides > divide both sides by 24
3. I think you typed it wrong but if +8 = 1/3 and -8 = 3 (Most likely -8 you meant)
Distribute left side > -6+ or - 8 > add 14 or subtract 2 from both sides > subtract 2x both sides > divide both sides by 6x
4. X = 43/3 (equals a irrational number so meh)
Distribute on left side > Simplify left side (-8 - 42) > add 50 both sides > Divide both sides by 6
5. No solution
Distribute right side > 24a -22 cannot equal -4 + 24a therefore it is no solution.
