How do you calculate the mean of two random variables

I have two random variables, X and Y. Y = C + X. How would you calculate the mean of Y, since it depends on the random variable X?

-
mean of(Y)= C + mean of ( X)

If Y= 10+ X and mean of (X)=25 then

mean of (Y)= 10+25= 35

-
If C is a constant, then (mean of Y) = (mean of X) + C

-
Do your own Homework
Good luck
