A. 2 mm
B. 4 mm
C. 7 mm
D. 12 mm

i know the answer is 4 mm but i got it wrong on my test and i need to know how to do it.

8(x + 2) = 4(3x)
8x + 16 = 12x
16 = 4x
x= 4 mm
