Logarithm, which answer is correct

Here is the log.

Log_8 12.

Here is the formula (log_10 12)/(log_10 8)= 1.105

However i have also get 1.19 when put into the calculator differently. Which is the correct answer/way of inputting into a calculator?

log12/log8 = 1.1949875

checking gives 8^1.1949875 = 12

The calculator keying sequence should be log12 ÷ log8 =

Intrigued as to where 1.105 comes from!!
