Does anybody know the rest of this integer pattern

Does anyone know the rest of this pattern 8, -24, 72, -216

In order to find the pattern, take any number and divide it by the number behind it. So -216/72=-3. So multiply the the numbers by -3 the next numbers are 648, -1944, 5832 etc.

Multiply by -3. So, the next two numbers, for example, are 648 and -1944.

Multiply by -3

8 x(-3) =-24
-24 x (-3) = 72
use (-3)

an = -3*an-1
