Domain is all real numbers.-Domain is/are the possible x values that satisfy the equation.Range is/are the possible y values that satisfy the equation.y=1 is a horizontal line at (0, 1). What y values satisfy the equation?......
What is the domain and range of the function f(x)=1

Please explain because I cannot find it in the text book. Thanks!

-
f(x) = 1 is y = 1

which is a horizontal straight line from negative infinity to positive infinity on y = 1.

Therefore, the range is y = 1.

Domain is all real numbers.

Domain is/are the possible x values that satisfy the equation.
Range is/are the possible y values that satisfy the equation.

y=1 is a horizontal line at (0, 1). What y values satisfy the equation? Only, 1, right? because it's a horizontal line on y=1.

What x values satisfy the equation? All real numbers do.

So,

Domain: All real numbers.
Range: 1

-
the function f (x) = 1 could be written f (x) = 0x + 1

Then for any value of x; f (x) = 1

The domain is the set of real numbers or -oo< x < oo

The range is always 1

-
Domain: {R} (All real numbers)
Range: 1
