Do these numbers add up or is something fishy going on

I'd figure i'd ask the math department so please bare with me.

The game i want to buy costs $59.99 so i decided to trade in 5 of my games worth of store credit to put down on the game i want to buy. Here are the numbers. Keep in mind the game i want to buy is $59.99

I traded in:
Game1 and got $13.00
Game2 and got $4.55
Game3 and got $18.20
Game4 and got $4.55
game5 and got $11.70

I got a total of $52.00 of store credit towards the $59.99 game (plus tax)

The Problem:
How come on my recipet it says i purchased a year long subscription to a magazine for $14.99 and the game I supposebly had to have bought says "Reserve Order Deposit of $47.53" i wanted to put the whole $52.00 towards the $59.99. odly enough my total was 62.52- 52.00, i had to pay $10.52 (the price of the game; 59.99+ tax)The game is 59.99 i wanted to use all the store credit towards the game! Did the guy just add the 14.99 to make my total at 59.99(tax not factored in yet)?

And $10.52 is the same price i had to pay for the $59.99 - $52.00 = $7.99+ tax

Did he just add the 14.99 as a catch price to make it 59.99 ? This was gamestop by the way.
