MAth HEELLP?? (im just really need this 10 pts)

Problems likes these: 13+x=6, 25-m=9,-13=n+13
i dont understand how to solve these while showing my work the way the teachers want it! i have a test on these. i dont want answers. i just want some one to show me how to do these.

1. Subtract 13 from both sides:
x = 6 - 13 = -7
2. Add m to both sides:
25 = 9 + m
Subtract 9 from both sides:
25 - 9 = m
m = 16
3. Subtract 13 from both sides:
-13 - 13 = n
n = -26

We want to get the unknown on one side by itself and the rest on the other.

So what is unknown in the first one, x. Keep x on the left side.

Move 13 to the other side by subtracting 13 from both sides. One the left side the 13-13 =0 so you are left with x and on the right side 6-13=-7

So x=-7

Same follows for the rest.

(25-m) + m = 9+m --> 25= 9+m

25-9=(9+m)-9 --> 16=m --> m=16

-13-13=(n+13)-13 --> -26=n --> n= -26

13+x=6
To eliminate numbers from left side subtract 13 from both sides and get
13+x−13=6−13
→x=−7
To eliminate numbers from left side subtract 25 from both sides and get
25-m=9
25−m−25=9−25
or −m=−16
Multiply both sides by −1 and get
m=16

-13=n+13
To eliminate numbers from right side subtract 13 from both sides and get
−13−13=n+13−13
→ −26=n
or n= − 26

13+x=6

your objective is to find x

minus both side of the equation by 13

13+x - 13 = 6 - 13
x = -7

do it for the rest
