y= -4.f(2)= -4.9(2)^2-20(2)= -59.= 59.......
Approximately how far will an object fall in 2 seconds, if thrown downward at an initial velocity of 20 m/sec from a helicopter?

(Use 4.9t^2+v0t=s)

Points go to best answer.

-
(4.9)(2)^2 + (20)(2) = s

19.6 + 20 = 59.6 meters

-
y=-(1/2)at^2-20t
y= -4.9t^2-20t

f(2)= -4.9(2)^2-20(2)= -59.6 m

-
just plug in 2seconds for t and 20 m/s for v0

= 59.5 meters
