Find the volume of a Pyramid- Calculus

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 13-07-04] [Hit: ]
Anyways Admire you forget to divide the top by three because its a pyramid.its 32 b^2 h^3...........
Find the volume V of the described solid S.
A pyramid with height 3h and rectangular base with dimensions 4b and 8b
V=?

Please help! Thanks

-
The volume of a pyramid is Base area * Height / 3

Here, V = (4b)(8b)*(3h) / 3 = 32b²h

Explain how this is Calculus? There are no changing parts so it's just Geometry. Anyways "Admire" you forget to divide the top by three because it's a pyramid. it's 32 b^2 h^3.....1/3* base area * height

-
V = base area * height

V = 4b * 8b * 3h = 96b^2 h units^3
