What kind of immunization is usually administered in America, Africa and Europe

rubella and varicella (chicken pox) vaccine; HIB = haemophilus influenzae type B; hepatitis A; hepatitis B; meningococcus vaccine.Since I retired they also use PCV, a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.These are the commonest. Many in Europe are given BCG for tuberculosis prevention. There may be others.......
Common immunizations include: DTaP - diphtheria and tetanus toxoids with acellular pertussis vaccine (whooping cough); IPV = polio vaccine (in areas where polio is prevalent, they often use the oral vaccine); MMRV = measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox) vaccine; HIB = haemophilus influenzae type B; hepatitis A; hepatitis B; meningococcus vaccine.

Since I retired they also use PCV, a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine.

These are the commonest. Many in Europe are given BCG for tuberculosis prevention. There may be others.
