Will new mathematics have to be invented by someone for string theory to be "solved" without using the perturbation theory?

Do you think humans will do it, or artificial intelligence in the future will have to invent it?

I don't expect new systems of math (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, etc) but application of existing systems. Vs Newton had to invent Calculus. The hang-up is development of ways to test the formulations to determine if they are correct. Opinion: Humans will have to do that
